Reveille Weekday School

Extended Day

Lunch Bunch is offered from 12:00-2:00pm Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays to preschool children who are potty trained. Preschool children may participate in other extended day activities such as Piano, Soccer Shots, Itty Bitty Yogis, Pop, Hop and Rock and Little Steamers with the option of adding lunch bunch to any of these activities.

Piano is offered to children ages 4 and 5 by the start of the school year from 12:00-12:30 on Wednesdays. Mrs. Mary Walker leads this program. This class will build strong listening skills and piano foundation for musicality. It will also enhance skills in the other areas of early development. Registration is handled by emailing Mary Walker at

Soccer Shots is a professionally designed program for young children led by trained soccer instructors. Evan Harding has been involved in youth coaching for many years and has been a member of the Richmond Kickers. During each 30 minute session, instructors will creatively introduce children to the sport of soccer while developing physical skills and character. We will offer soccer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:00-12:30 in the FALL and SPRING to children ages 3-5. You will have an opportunity to register for Soccer Shots online at in September.

Itty Bitty Yogis, a yoga enrichment program designed for children ages 3-5 will be offered at Reveille on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12-12:30 in the FALL and SPRING. Our youth yoga curriculum balances bodies and brains as children discover yoga through yoga-inspired games, yoga stories, and yoga poses. This is not your typical yoga class! We will run, jump and downward dog before we end each session with stretching and a mindfulness exercise. Itty Bitty Yogis was created by former Reveille teacher, Katie Cooke & Reveille parent, Connie Mattox. Registration is handled online at and more information will be provided in September.

Pop, Hop and Rock will be offered to children ages 3-5 on Tuesdays from 12-12:30pm in the WINTER. All play, all the time. Through high energy games and activities, we get kids laughing, screaming in joy and more often than not, sweaty. Fun is our first, middle and last name in Pop, Hop & Rock™. Serious fun is what we do. Registration is handled online at

Little Steamers program will be offered to children ages 3-5 on Thursdays from 12-12:30pm in the WINTER. Little Steamers will give your child the opportunity to explore STEAM through play. Using simple tools and simple questions, students will solve problems and design solutions. Lessons will be centered around children’s literature and thematically geared towards students’ interests throughout the year. Registration is handled online at https://www.littlesteamersllc

KR/JK After School Enrichment LEAP! will provide enrichment lessons in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, cooking, literacy, math and science. Your KR or JK student can still sign up for enrichments like Soccer Shots, Itty Bitty Yogis, Piano and more. Students will join the LEAP! group after their activity, eat lunch and participate in the remainder of the afternoon’s lesson and activities until 2pm. Some highlights from this program include: Bring books to life with activities, art and play, engage in literacy games that incorporate movement to stimulate the brain, explore science through sensory activities including experimentation and cooking, constructing, using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, creatively use materials to cut and sew while building fine motor skills using clay and play dough and supporting positive peer interactions through collaborative play.
We plan to offer this enrichment to JK students only starting in October for the first half of the school year. More information will be provided to KR students, the second half of the year, if there is available space in LEAP!

Initial registration for these activities will be handled the first weeks of school in September. After that time, if you are interested in adding lunch bunch/extended day to any of the activities mentioned above, please contact the school office at 804.359.4600 or email at
